Privacy Policy

How information is collected, used, shared and protected across iintendo.

Before public launch, this page must be completed with the platform operator's legal identity and contact details, confirmed retention periods and final jurisdiction-specific wording.

Information we handle

  • Account information: name, email, authentication and session records.
  • Profile information: location, biography, profession, skills, interests, languages, goals, budget range, availability and the visibility choices you make.
  • Project information: project text, categories, country or region, roles, budgets, external links and photos you upload.
  • Collaboration information: private messages, match results, saved or hidden suggestions, applications and notifications.
  • Safety and technical information: reports, moderation decisions, audit events, security records and limited request data needed to operate and protect the service.

Why we use it

We use information to create and secure accounts, publish projects at your direction, provide search and matching, enable private collaboration, prevent abuse, investigate reports, maintain the service and respond to lawful requests.

The final lawful-basis table will be confirmed before public launch. The expected bases are performance of the service contract, legitimate interests in security and moderation, legal obligations where they apply, and consent for any future optional non-essential features.

Public projects and private information

Information placed in a published project is visible to visitors. Private account names and email addresses are not displayed on public project cards. Matching is limited to authorised public project information; it does not use private messages, private profile data or behavioural Save and Hide choices.

Service providers and international processing

The current service uses Render for application hosting, Supabase for authentication, database and file storage, and Resend for transactional account email. These providers may process information in more than one country. The final policy will identify the operator's applicable safeguards and processor details before public launch.

Retention, security and your choices

Information is kept only while needed for the service, safety, dispute handling and legal obligations. Exact retention periods are still being finalised. You can edit profile and project information, change project visibility and use the account export available in your profile. A verified deletion-request channel will be added before public launch.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to receive a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or the data-protection authority that applies to you.

No sale of personal information

iintendo does not currently sell personal information or use third-party advertising or behavioural analytics cookies.
